The City Commission met.in.regular session, Mayor Stratton ; and.Commiss -ioners Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll call.
Ifoved by Stratton, seconded. by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Ifonday,
June 9th, 1930 be approved 'as 'read.: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
Talored by T,raub,'- seconded by -Clark that this being' the time for the hearing on Resolution
No.' B- 1136,,for constructing 'a sidewalk on Third Avenue South; Fourth Avenue South; W -est
71alnut Street and West Spruce Street and there being insufficient -prot'est' by property
owners in said- district;' it is hereby ordered. that the ordinance creating a Local Im-
pro'rement District be laid on the table for one ti ^feek3` carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub
voting aye... on roll call.
Moved. by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No.' B -1137 for constructing a *sidewalk on North Eighth Street from East "E" - Street to
East "1'" Street and on East "E" Street from North Seventh Street to North Eighth Street,
and there beiiag no objection to said improvement or' any part thereof, it is ordered that
the'Ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be :laid on the table for one week:

W-iEREAS, it is necessary to provide funds for the operation of
such Municipal'Garage until such time -as the various departments of the City of Yakima
can be billed for such service or repairs as they may receive.from said Municipal Garage,
and
WHEREAS, the Permanent Highway Maintenance Fund now has unappro-
piated funds sufficient to enable it to make a loan to said "Municipal Garage Fund ", and
V7HEREAS, it appears to be to the best.interests of said City of
Yakima to divert to a special fund, to be provided, certain funds of the Permanent High -
way'Maintenance Fund as a loan.
NO`vV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIMSSION OF THE CITY
OF YAKITJIA, WASHINGTON:
That there be and. is hereby created a Fund to be known as "Munici-
pal Garage Fund ". That the Treasurer of the City of Yakima be and he is hereby authorize
to transfer to said "Municipal Garage Fund" from the Permanent Highway Maintenance Fund
an amount not to exceed Fifteen Hundred and 00/100 ($1,500.00) Dollars. That such funds
so credited to said Itunicipal Garage Fund" shall be treated as a loan to said fund and
the Treasurer of the City of Yakima shall keep'such records and..accounts as maybe ne-
cessary to show the true condition of said accounts and said Treasurer shall-bill-the
various departments of the City df Yakima each month for service and supplies furnished
by said 111unicipal Garage and such items when paid "shali be credited., to the "Municipal
Garage Fund ". That said "Municipal Garage Fund" shall be used, for the sole purpose of
providing funds for the operation of said. Municipal Garage.
