June 9th, 1930.
The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll.call.
T41oved by Stratton, seconded. by Clark that the minutes of thex,egula,r meeting of Monday,
June 2nd,. 1930, be approved., as read.: carried; Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Stratton that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give
notice to contract.ors by publication as required. by law for paving 24th Avenue South
from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue in L.I.D. No. 483; said. bids to be received on
Monday, June 30th, 1930 at 10 o *clock A -Ms carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye
on roll call.
ORDINANC.E NO. A -1213, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the appointment of a Park
Commission for the City of,-Yakima, Washington, and difining the.duties; authority and ter
of office; repealing Ordinance No. A -405 and all other Ordinances and parts of-Ordinances
in conflict herewith and declaring an emergency," was introduced. by Stratton and. read by
the City Clerk.

ing and read by title only: carried, Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call•

passed. on the 9th day of June, 1930, the City Commission authorized.the Park Board to
have charge of the following parks and playgrounds,, to -wit': South 3rd Ste Park; City
Park-on North 4th Street; Lion's Park on 6th Avenue; Triangle at 12th,and west Yakima
Avenue; Fire Station No. 2 Playground; Naches Avenue Parking Strips; Owyhee Park on 6th
Avenue North; Tourist Park and. all other parking strips within the City limits of the
City of Yakima: carried, §trat'ton, Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1214, entitled, "An Ordinance confirming the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No:: 474, as created and established by Ordinance No. A -1184
of the Ordinances of the .City of Yakima," was introduced by Stratton_ and. read by the City
Clerk.

Town of North Yakima., 31ashington Ter. (now Yakima; Washington) , according to-the official
plat thereof recorded in Vollune, "A" of Plats, page 10, and. rerecorded in Volume "E'" of
Flats, Page 1, records oP Y,aki;ma County, Washington, described as follows: Beginning at,
a point on the eas.t.line of South Fourth.Street.as shown on -said plat, 100 feet north-
westerly of the North line of Walnut Street as shown on said plat; thence northeasterly
parallel with the north line of said.`#alnut Street, 140 feet; theme northwesterly par-
allel with the east.line of said South Fourth - Street, 50 feet; thence soL.ithwesterly par=
all.el with the north line of said Walnut Street, 140 feet to the east line of South

Fourteen Hundred. Thirty and 00/100 ($1,430.00) Dollars, payable as follows: The sum of
Four Hundred Thirty grid 00 /100 (,430.00) Dollars in cash upon the execution and delivery
of a suit Claim Deed ,conveying said property to said. FRANK NE- 71SOi513 and ROSE B. NY,ffS010,
husband and. wife, and the- balance of One Thousand anti. 00 /100 ($1,000.:00) Dollars to be
represented by a second mortgage on said property payable to the City of Yakima as fol-
lows: Twenty -five and 00 /IOC)- Dollars (.? 25.00), per: month including interest a; t 6% on the
,deferred payments the first payment to become due, and payable August lst, 1930., and said.
monthly payments to become due on.or be.-fore the first day of each month thereafter until
said mortgage and interest shall have been paid in full, and the Ma•y,ar and City Clerk o
said City are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim Deed for said pro=
