The City ConLmission met in regular session, ]Jayar Stratton and. Commissioners Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll call.
iioved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of I,Ionday,
April 28th, 1930 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved. as read: carried, Stratton,
Claris and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded. by Clark that the bid. oi the Sunset Pacific Oil Company for fur-
nishing gasoline to the City for the sum of 15-x- cents per gallon F.O.B. Yakima and at no
time lo�srer than 12 cents per gallon F-0.1.. Yakima, including State tax, hereby,accepted.
as the lowe -4t an,?. best'bid and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract
on behalf of said .City; said. contract bein. fr.ora :larch 15, 1930. to 1,11arch 15, 1931: car-
ried., Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye-on-roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No. B -1126 for constructing an irrigation system along the north_sd.d.e of Lincoln . Ave

and other streets in said City, and there being no protests in writing or otherwise to
said improvement or any part thereof, it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local
Improvement District be laid on the table for one week: carried., Stratton, Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll call.

RE'SOLVED BY TI,
CITY COMI ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI�!1A,
fIASHINGTON:
May 5, 1930.
That it is the intention of the City Commission of said City of Yakima,*
`Vashi.ngton, to improve Lots -5 "to'53, both inclusive, in Cherry Avenue Subdivision, Yakima
?r+ashington, bJT the construction of a sewer in the alley between Third Avenue.North and
Fourth Avenue North from the existing sewer on Cherry Avenue to-the north line of Cherry
Avenue Subdivision; said sewer to 'be provided with two manholes., one flush tank and the
necessary wye branches,,and. by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connectio
therewith; all in accordance with flans and. specifications therefor to be prepared by the
City Engineer and. to be filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are here-
by notified to appear and. present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to
be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima, Washington, at
the hour of 9:00 o'clock A -11., on '.`:Iond.ay, the 26th day of Tray, '1930, which time and place
are hereby fixed. for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement,
all objections thereto and for determining the method. of payment therefor, and. the City
Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and. the intention to make the
aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed
against all of the property legally and properly.assessable therefor, as provided by lava,
and the City Engineer is hereby directed. to submit to the City Commission at or prior to
the time fixed herein for said, hearing, all of the data and. other information required by
law to be submitted. by him.

RESOLUTION NO. B -1132, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CIT`i'' COME[ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMN, IVASH-
INGTON:
That it is the intention of the City•Cammission of the City of
Yakima, Washington, to improve 24th Avenue North from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Ave-
nue, in the City of Yakima, Washington, by grading and paving the same with a one course
Portland. cement concrete pavement 12 feet in width, by constructing a concrete curb along,
the east side of said.pavement, by constructing a reinforced. concrete culvert across the
Natchez and Cowychee Ditch where the same crosses said 24th Avenue North, and. by doing
all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with
the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with
the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed - improvement
are hereby notified to appear and. present such objections at a meeting of the City Com-
mission to be held, at .its .offices in the City Office Building in the City .of Yakima, Vash
ington, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 26th day of Inlay, 1930, which
time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed
improvement or objections thereto and for determining the method of payment' therefor and
the City Clerk is hereby di,r.ected. to give due notice of said hearing and. of the intention
to r�a.ke the aforesaid improvement.
