That the said proposed, sidewalk shall be constructed. as a reinforced concrete Slab o7er the said ditch, and. shall be supported by and. connected to the said reinforced concrete side `malls of said ditch, a-nd. the said City of Yaki-na shall advertise and re- cei ere proposals and. award a contract for the making of said improvements, to -wit: The said reinforced concrete lining, sidevralk, and curb, all in accordance with plans and. specifications heretofore prepared. by the City of Yakirila and accepted by the Natchez Cowychee Ditch Company, and hereto attached and_ made a part of this proposition., No work shall be done on the ditch lining until after the close of the Irrigation season of 1930. n That the .ditch company shall pay to the City or to the contractor performing said work as the said City may direct $2.50 per lineal foot of ditch so lined, said cost being: inclusive of the cost of excavation and. "back filling that may be mad.e necessary in the construction of said. im-orovement. 3. That the ditch. company will furnish and deliver to the. said contractor all of the head. grates, pipes, *reirs, and other fixtures to be placed. in the weir bores, to- gether with instru6ti3ns for placing the same, and' the contractor shall place .aid head gates, pikes, ,,weirs and other fixtures in accordance with the instructions so given. 4. That the ditch comyoany will pay to the City of Yakima, or to the contractor as directed by the said City the cost of the placi.ngr of said head gates, pipes, weirs, and other fixtures as follows: For the concrete made necessary and used. in the placing of the same $12.00 per cubic yard., and for the reinforcing steel so used in the placing thereof at the rate of six cents per pound. The ditch company will furnish one inspector on the work to see that the- contractor complies with the requirements of the ditch comriany and to cooperate with the inspector appointed by the City in seeing that the work is done in accordance with the plans and. specifications hereinbefore referred. to.
