RESOLUTION NO. B- 1126, tri:IEREAS, by Ordinance No. 594, creating and establishing Local Improvement District No. 308, providing for the construction of a general water system, it was provided.that whenever it was deemed expedient by the City Commission to install additional irrigation laterals and service connections to deliver water to individual lots, tracts and parcels of land within the 'limits of said district, such other local improvement districts would. be established, as might be deemed necessary and the cost and expense to be incurred in the construction of such distribution system and. the fur- nishing of such property with water for irrigation and domestic uses would be paid by levying special assessments upon the property within such district,.in the manner pro - vi d.e d by law; and '=DAS, it is now deemed expedient by the City Commission that a local improvement district be formed for the purpose of constructi-ng the necessary irrigation laterals and. appurtenances and, acquiring necessary water rights and rights of way in order to supply various lots and tracts of land with water; All property bounded on the north by Lincoln Avenue, on the east by the west line of Lot 1, Cottage -Hill Addition, on the south by Folsom Avenue and on the west by Lewis Avenue; all within the city limits of the City of Yakima., Washington. This improvement is to consist of the acquiring of the necessary rights of way, water and water rights for furnishing water for irrigation and domestic ..purposes to all the property within the above described. boundaries and the construction of a distribution syste.,t therefor, consisting of irrigation laterals connecting with the :vest end of the irrigation lateral now constructed at a point in the alley north of Folsom Avenue, in the City of Yakima, Washington; said point being five feet south of th center line of said alley and near the west line of Lot 1, Cottage Hill Addition; said irrigation laterals to extend thence west parallel with and. five feet south of said. center line to a point about forty feet east of Lewis Avenue; also connecting with the west end. of the irrigation lateral now cons.tructed at a point in the alley north of Jefferson Avenue, siad point being five feet south of said center line and near the west line of Lot 1, Cottage Hill Addition; thence west parallel with and. five feet south of said center line to a point about forty feet east of Lewis Avenue; said irrigation later als to be provided with a service connection to each lot and a blow off' at the end of each lateral. All of the cost and expense of the construction and installation of said pipe line and appurtenances, engineering and advertising and all other expenses incident thereto shall be assessed against all of the property above described in the manner provided by lain. All persons who may desire to object to the proposed improvement are hereby notified. to appear at a meeting of the City.Commission,to be held in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima, Yakima, County, 'Washington, at the hour of nine o'clock A. I ,I., on Monday, the 5th day of May, 1930, which time and place are hereby fixed -for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, or objection thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is here- by-directed, to give notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The costs and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against alb. of the property legally and.'properly'assessable therefor, as pro- vided by lass, and. the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission, at or. prior t-5-the date fixed for said hearing, all. of the data and other information required. by law to be submitted. by him.
