The City Commission met in regular session, rllayor Stratton and Commissioners Clark and
Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
March 24th, 1930 and. adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read.: carried., Stratton,
Clark and Traub voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. A -1202, entitled: "An Ordinance relating to and regulating the installa=
tion and. maintenance of oil and. ;- asoline service stations. v�ithi.n the fire limits of the
City of Yakima, providing a penalty for the violation thereof and declaring an emergency"
was introduced. by Stratton and read by -the City Clerk.

Moved by Traub, seconded by Clark that this being`, the time fur receiving bid.s for the
construction of a sidewalk on N. 6th Street, in Local Improvement District No. 476, the
following were received.:

Midstate Contract Co. 931.86
R. A. Geary" 883.81
The bid. of 'Wilson & De Blasio in the sum of $745.49 being the lowest
and best bid., said. contract was awarded to them and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized
to enter into a contract therefor upon the filing of the proper bond as required. by laws
carried, Stratton, Clark and. Traub voting aye I on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded. 'bS, Stratton that the following payrolls for the-month of Yarch,
1930.be allowed and the City-Clerk authorized to- issue warrants therefore carried,
Stratton, Clark and Traub voting aye 'on roll call; 'Various Dept. $1,969.96: Engineer-
ing Dept. $1,461.37: Police Dept. x`3,691099: Health Dept. $1,965.66: Fire �epto'.
x4,566.65: Uater Dept. ,N3,030..82: Library $760.95 and. Miscellaneous $1,040:41.
Moved. by Traub, seconded by Clark that the bond 'of 47ilson & DeBlasio, Contractors, in
L'.I:D..No.. 476, in the surn of $745.49 is hereby approved and. filed with the City Clerk;
