Traub voting aye on ro l call:
Moved by Stratton, seconded. by Clara that the Minutes of the meeting of Monday , March
17th, 1930 be adopted as read: darried, Stratton, C1ark.and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
I:ioved by Stratton, seconded. by Clark that N.A.uilman be appointed Superintendent of the
Iffater Department to serve at his present salary with instructions to submit to the City
Commission within thirty days a plan for reorganization of said. department: Stratton
and Clark voted aye on roll. call, Traub no.

That said. above described premises be and they are - hereby author-
ized. to be sold to Arthur -Qldoodward and. Armilda Woodward, husband and. wife, for the total
sum of SIX. HU'_NTDREP & 00.100 ($600.00) DOLLARD, payable as follows: the sum of SET ,3NTY
FITdE 8: 00/100 ($75.00) DOLLARS in cash upon the execution of the contract herein author-
'6d, *and the balance of FIVE HUNDRED T :'.IENTY- FIVE. & 00 /100 ($525.00) DOLLARS in monthly
payments of TWELVE & 50/100 ($12.50) DOLLARS each, together with interest thereon'at the
rate of six per cent (6 0) per. annum payable monthly with principal payments, the first
payment to be due I {ay lst, 1930, and said montyly. payments to become due. on or before the
first day of each month thereafter until the whole of said purchase price and interest
shall have been paid in full. The purchaser under said. contract shall also agree to pay
all. assessments: against said premises falling due under any Local Improvement'. District
or Districts hereafter created. or arising from levies hereafter placed against said pre-
mises, and the Mayor and. City Clerk of said. City are authorized and directed to enter in-
to a contract in duplicate with said. purchaser under the terms hereinabove set forth.
..Said, agreement to be entered into shall also contain suitable prop
visions requiring any buildings upon said. premises to be insured at the expense of the
second party in a solvent insurance company.satisfactory to first party as its interest
may appear and shall also contain a provision that in case of destruction of or damage
to any buildings or improvements on said, premises -such damage or loss shall be the loss
of second party and shall not be a ground for rescission of said contract; and, said' con-
tract shall also contain a suitable provision providing for forfeiture thereof upon fail-
ure of second party to make any payment of principal, interest, taxes or.assessments
therein provided. for when same shall become due or delinquent, notice of- such forfeiture
to be for 30 days and service thereof' to be by serving same personally upon second party
or'by mailing to them at Yakima, 'lashington; and..a further provision shall be- placed
therein that upon final payment of said principal -and interest and taxes and assessments
the first party shall convey said premises to s econd party by a good and sufficient quit
claim deed conveying all the interest said City of Yakima.now has in said premises; and
the further provision shall be contained. in:aid contract against the assignment of second.
party without the consent of first party first had. and obtained.
