The City Commission met in regular session, I4layor Stratton and Commissioners Clark
and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded. by Clark that the minutes of the regular Meeting of ion -
Tay, January 20th, _1930 be approved as read: curried, Stratton, Clark and. Traub vot-
ing aye on roll call.
Moved by Stratton, seconded. by Clark that the office of Plumbing Inspector and the
office of Sanitary Inspector be combined, and the salary fixed at the sum of ;2,000.00
per year; said office to become effective February ist, 1930: carried, Stratton,
Clark and. Traub voting aye on roll call. _

That it is the intention' of the City Commission of the City of
Yakima, 'Washington, to improve South Fourth Street from Past ialnut Street to Adams
_A�:,enue, in the City of Yakima, VITashington, by grading and paving the same with a one
course Portland. cement concrete pavement; the pavement to be 60 feet in width from
Nast Walnut Street to East Spruce.Street, 40 feet in width from East Spruce Street to
E,, st Haple Street, and 32 feet in width f •om East I'llaple Street to Adams Avenue; by
constructing the necess.?°y curbs, side;tialks and siphons, and by doing all such. other
w -ork as may be necessary in connection therewith, . all in accordance with the plans
and. specifications therefor to be prepared by the. City.Engineer, and .filed. with the
City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said. proposed improve -
ment are hereby notified. to appear and. present such objections. at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held. at its offices in the City Office Vuilding in the City of
Yakima, 'iashington, at the hour of Nine o'clock A,. It., on T� onday the. 17th day of Feb-
ruary, 1930, w - Tii6h. time and place are hereby fi;_erL for the hearing of all ratters re-
lating to said. proposed imp,rovernent or objections. thereto and for. d.eter_mining the met-
hod of payment therefor and. the :,ity Clerk is hereby directed. to give due notice of
saia hearing and. of the intention to make the aforesaid improyement.
The costs and expenses of said. i.rnprovement shall be borne by and
assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as pro-
vided by law, and. the City Engineer is hereby directed. to submit -to the City Commissm
ion at or prior to the date fixed:her.ein for said-hearing, all of the data and. other
information required by law to be submitted. by him.
