The .City coc<mmission met in-regular session,Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and.
Coonse voting aye on roll call.'
Moved by aoonse, seconded by Hedges, that the City Engineer having reported the com-
pletion of the improvement in Local Improvement District.No.470-; by th,e contractors:
J.1d.DeBiasio, in the sure of 645.59, said work is 'hereby accepted and. the City Engineer
instructed to prepare an assessment roll therefor and the City Clerk authorized'to give
notice of hearing on said roll for Monday; Nove:.riber 18th,1929, at 9 o'clock ,A.M. carrie
Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE "NO.A- 1184,.entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the construction of Portland
cement concrete sidewalks and crosswalks upon certain streets in the City of Yakima,
establishing a local improvement district, providing a inethod of payment therefor and
creating a special fund ", was introduced by Coonse and read. by the City Clerk.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No:A -1184 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only; carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse, voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No -A -1184 be passed to its third
reading and read in full;carried,Dud.ley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No.A -1184 be passed as finally read
carried,Dudley,Hed.ge's and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges:;i that the City Clerk is.hereby authorized to give
notice to contractors by publication as required. by law for constructing a sidewalk on
Race Street and other streets in said City in Local improvement District N6.474; said
bids to be received on Tuesday, November 12th,1929, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Dudley,
Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll. call.
