ORDINANCE' NO.A -1167, entitled: "An Ordina ce providing for the construction of Portland
ceiient concrete sidewalks and cross walks upon.certain streets in the City of Yakima
establishing a local impro- venent- district, provid ing a method of payment .therefor, and
c.rea.t�ng, a special fund. ", was introduced by Dudley and read by the City Clerk.

reading and read. by title only; earried,Dud ley, He(lges and Coonse voting aye on roll
call.

at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.

'1ASHINOTON:
That the Mayor and other proper corporate authorities and agents of the City
of Yaki.ra,, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate and execute an
agreement with W.T. WHITE, and 1TU11A J.`IIHITE husband and wife, for the purchase of .two
cubic feet of water per second of titre frorl the Naches River for the_ aura of $3500.00
lawful money of the United. States, all abs.traet expense and conveying expenses in-
cident thereto o be borne by said City and said purchase o be conditioned upon said
vendors' being able to show a good. marketable title for said. water. and. further con -
ditioned upon a full and free right being .obtained by said. City, with the consent of
all parties persons or authorities being obtained for the divertion of said water fro
the Naches River into the intake of the municipal water system at Oak Flats upon said
river; otherwise for said agree ent to be .void.
