Moved. by Dudley, seconded. by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of I!�[.onday; August 12t-,1929, be approved as read.;carried.,Dudley Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll .call. Moved by Coonse; seconded by Dudley, that the bond of Geo- Milton Savage -and Company, contractor for the street lighting system, in Local Improve.�ent District No-469, in the sum of .$4936:46 is., hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk; carried, Dudley, Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll calle- Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the claim of Matilda A.Ivory residing at . 310 North Sixth Street in the City of Yaima for injuries sustained by reason of fall- ing on the sidewalk on the Northeast corner of North Second. S +reet and Yakiaa Avenue on account of an oily substance on said sidewalk in the sum of $345.00 is hereby rejected;carried,Dud.ley,Hedges and. Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that' this being the time and place for the hearing on Resolution No.B -1089 for constructing a cement sidewalk on 'gbst 7Valnut Street from Third Avenue south to the west line of the alley east of Fifth Avenue south�,p and there being no protests in writing or otherwise against said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the Ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid on the table for one week;ca'rried;Dudlev,Hedges and. Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by Dudley, that this being the tithe and place for the hearing on Resolution Nb.1090 for constructing a cement sidewalk on Eighteenth Avenue s)'uth, from Division Street to faclaren Street and there being no protests in writing or otherwise against said improvement or any part.thereof; it is ordered that the Ordinanc creating a local improvement district' be, la.i.d on the table for, one- week; carried,yhidley, Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved. by Coonse, seconded by-Dudley, that this being the time for receiving bids for I! improving intersection of West Yalkims Avemue and Sixteenth Avenue-by widening said intersection dnd other, improvements, -the' :Tfollowing bids were received: Geo.Tlilton Savag Company, Plan A-';51043.61; Plan B -• 1090.61; J-.V,,.DeBlasio, Man A- n1075.11; Plan B- $1171. 1. The bid, of Geo.Milton Savage.
