ORDINANCE NO..A= 1166, entitled:" An Ordinance providing for the calling and holding of a special election to be held in 'the City of Yakima, on 1iond.ay, September 16,1929, for the purpose of electing fifteen freeholders to frame a charter for said City, declaring the qualifications of nandidates and providing for the filing of declarations cc' can - didacy and for the placing of candidates' names upon ballots, for the printing of ballots and the method.of voting,thereon, providing that the .fifteen candidates receiv- ing the highest number of votes shall be dee+lared.-elected. and-shall convene within ten days thereafter and frame a charter for said City and that within thirty days the reafte they or a majority of their number shall submit such charter to the City Commission of said.
