The City Commission met in regular session, ?Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll-call.
Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, t aat tb.e minutes of the regular meeting of Monday
July lst,1929, be= approved as read; carried.;Dud ley, Hedges and Coonse voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time and. place for the
hearing on Resolution No.Bm1083 for constructingacement sidewalk on North Third
Avenue and other streets in said City, and there being no protests in writing against
said. improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a
Local Improvement District be laid on the table for one week;carried,Dud.ley,Hedges
and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
'RESOLUTTON NO-B-1086 ,t _?YAS, Libby,TMcNeill & Libby, a co z�porat ion, has f iled a
petition setting forth that it is the owner of all of the property abutting upon
that portion of Quince Street in the City of Yakii:la, 1azhington, lying east of First
Avenue North, according to the official plat of the Cityof Yakima, and praying that
said -oort ion of said Quince Street be vacated, and said petition is now on file with
the City Clerk; and
v`dHg-'REAS, it appears to the City Commission that
has been signed by the owners of more than two thirds, of the private
upon the part of said Quince Street sought to be vacated.

IT -OW, T I REFO_RE, BE IT RESOL -VTD -by the City Commission of the
City of Yakima that said petition shall be brought on for hearing at the office of
the City Commission.in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima "Wazhington,on
Monday, the 29th' day of July , .1929 , at the hour of 9:30 A.Iv1. , and at said time and
place the Ci ty domrni ssi :)n shall hear and determine the same , and the City Clerk i s
hereby directed to gave twenty days notice of the pendency of said petition by a
written or printed notice set up in three of the most public places in said. City, an
a like notice in a conspicuous place on the portion of said Quince Street sought to
be vacated, which said. notice shall contain a statement that a petition has been
filed to vacate that part of Quince Street in the City of Yakima ,17ashington, lying
east of Firs Avenue North according to the plat of said city on "file in the office
of the Auditor of Yakima County,'iaslzingrton, together with a statement of the time an
place --fixed by this resolution for the hearing of said petition.
Passed by the City Commission, signed. and approved this 8th day of
July, 1929.
