Spruce Street, South Second Street from East Chestnut Street to East Spruce Street, South Third. Street from East Chestnut Street to East Walnut Street and South Fourth Street from:,, ast Chestnut Street to a line fifth feet south of East Yakima, Avenue, by the construction of a street lighting system con- sistina of incandescent electric lamps of 400 candle power each enclosed in glass globes supported upon ornamental lamp posts at intervals of about one hundred feet along each side of said. streets between the termini above described, all of said lamps to be con- nected. to insulated copper conductors in the form of parkway cables to be placed beneath the surface of the pavements, sidewalks,and. parking strips along :each side of said streets and to be connected, with the electric power lines of the Pacific Power & Light Company, together with all necessary transformers,lightning arresters, switches and other appurtenances and by furnishing said street lighting system with electric energy f::r the purpose of operating same, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, the cost and expense of maintaining• said lighting system and of furnishing electric energy therefor chargeable againstthe property included within the proposed Local Imp.rovernent District herein mentioned fo "be for an period of five years from. the time saie improvement shall have been placed in operation over and above that portion of said costs equivalent to the cost of maintaining and furnishing electric energy to seventy four '.lamps of 250 candle power each. during said five years, and for the creation of a local improvement district for the purpose of making said improvement, and providing that the Bost and expense of said. improvement including the cost of maintenance thereof and. the furnishing of electric energy thereto for a period of five years from and after the date that said improver_ient shall have been placed in operation over and above the cost of maintaining arid, furnishing electric energy to seventy four lamps of 250 candle power each during said five years, shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law. �FIASN INGT ON N0W,THE?
