The City Commission met-in regular session,Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and.
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
I'la.y 27th, 1929, and adjourned raeet ing thereof be approved as read; carried,Dudley,Hedges
and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A- 1154,entitled.: "An Ordinance providing for the construction of a concrete
sidewalk upon a certain street in the City of Yakima, establishing a local improvement
district, providing a method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. ", was
introduced. by Coonse and read. by the City Clerk.
Moved by Dudley,seconded. by Hedges, that Ordinance No-A-11-54 be passed to'its second-
reading and read by title only; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call._

and read in full;.carried.,Dudley,Hedges and. Coonse voting aye on roll call.

Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give
notice to contractors by publication as required. by law for constructing a cement side-
walk along the west .side of Eighteenth Avenu ®,south 5 feet in width from Division Street
to Mcl:aren Street in Local ImproveL,.ent District No-466, said bids to be received on
Nonday,June 17th,1929, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on
roll call.
ORDINANCE 'NO -A-1155, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for. the construction of a concrete
sidewalk upon a certain street in the City of Yakima, Washington, establishing.a Local
Improvement District, providing a method of payment therefor and creating a special fund"
was - introduced -by Coonse, and read by the City Clerk.

notice to contractors by publication as required by law for constructing a cement side-
walk on East Walnut Street from South Third Street to South Seventh Street 6 feet, in
width in Local Improvement District No-464; said bids to be received on 1:2ond.ay,June 17th
1929, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
