The City Commission met in regular session,Mayo rr�Dudle�J and Commissioners Hedges, and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Hed:res, that the minutes of the regular meeting of
Ylonday,May 20th,1929, be approved as read.;carried, Dudley,Hedges and. Coonse voting
aye-on-roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time and jilace. for the
hearing on Res.oluti.on No. 8 -1077 for constructing a cement sidewalk on East Walnut
Street from South Third Street ,t'o. South Seventh Street, 6 feet in width along the
south side thereof, excepting in front of Lot 1 Block 73, and there being no objection
in writing or otherwise to said improvement. or any part thereof, it is ordered. that
the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District-be laid on the table for one week;
carried.,Dizdley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye, on roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Dudley, that this being the time and place for the
hearing on Resolution No.B -1078 for constructing a sewer along Lots 2 to 13, both
inclusive, and the north 50 feet of Lot 1 avid that part of Lot 14 lying south of the
Natchez and. Cowychee ditch all -in Chareve Park, and there being no protests in writing
or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof, it is ordered. t_-at the ordinance
creating a• local improvement district be laid on the table for one week;carried,

Division Stre>!t to NicLaren Street, 5 feet in width, and there being no objections in
writing or otherwise to said improvement or, any part thereof; it is ordered. that the
ordinance creating a local improvement district be. laid on the table for one week;

ORDINANCE. NO..A -1153 , ' ent itled: "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of certain
streets in the City of Yak ima,71ashington, by grad.ing and paving the same with a one
course Portland ce;aent concrete pavement, or a Vibrolithic concrete pavement, or with
a pavement having a Portland cemen t concrete base and a bituminous concrete• wearing
surface; and by constructing concrete curbs; by constructing a concrete sidewalk; by
constructing a re- inforced concrete culvert. and. by constructing a re- inforced concrete
headworks for city irrigation systems and by constructing sewer connections, and
establishing a Local Improvement District, providing the method of payment therefor
and creating a special fund." was introduced ,by Coonse and read by the City Clerk.

notice to contractors by publication as required by law fornpaving West Chestnut Stree
from Seventeenth Avenue south to Twenty Eighth Avenue south and Eighteenth Avenue
south from I'Jest Yakima. Avenue to West Chestnut Street in Local Improvement District
No-463; said bids to be received on Monday,June 10th,1929 at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,
Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye, on roll call.
