The City Commission met. in regular session,Mayor Dudley send. Commissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roil call.
Moved. by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of IJionday,
March 11th,1929, be approved. as read.;carried, Dudley,Hed.ges arid. Coonse voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by -Hedges, seconded. by Dudley, that the application of Roy Schachtler for
Playground. Supervisor during the summer months at $100.00 per month is hereby accepted;
carried, Dudley, Hedges and Coonse voting -.ye on roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded. by Hedges, that an Ordinance, granting H.S. Turner the right
to locate,lay d.own,construct,maintain and operate a pipe line 12 inches in inside
diameter for irrigation purposes in,along and upon certain streets and. alleys within
the limits of the City of Yakirna,Washington, was proposed and read by the City Clerk,
and ordered laid on the table until Monday,April 1st,1929;carried,Dudley,Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll.cai 1.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Dudley,-that this being the time for. the hearing on
Resolution No.B -1071 for paving South Front Street from East Walnut Street to East
Spruce Street from South Front Street to _South First Street and the alley extending
northerly and southerly through Block 13, and there being no objections in writing.or
otherwise to said improvement or any pert thereof, the ordinance creating a local
improvement district be laid on the table for one week;carried,I?ud.ley,Hedges and Coonse
voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO.B- 1072,W +.REAS, there has been prepared. and placed. before the City
Connission, an Ordinance,providing for the borrowing of money by the City of Yakima
and issuing its negotiable,serial,interest bearing coupon bonds, therefor, for the
purpose of redeeming outstanding warrant§ on the Municipal 1,i1ater Fund; together with
the accrued interest the_eon• of the City. of Ya.kima,`�ashington, describing the form of
bond, a.nd creating a sinking fund to redeem said bonds and interest.
NOW, THE11REFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY, THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIIA,
WASHINGTON:
Section.l. That said. ordinance which is complete in the form in which it
will finally be passed., be placed. on file with the City Clerk ard, remain on file for
public inspection for ate least one week before the final passage thereof.
