January 21st ,1929, be approved au read; carried,, Dudiey Hedges- and:. Coonse voting aye on

RESOLUTION NO.B- 1069,WHEREAS,. the City of Yakima -'has• heretofore acquired and now
maintains...a syst -e-m of water works � for said City;and
WHEREAS'; the: pipe. line hereinafter, described i�s needed • by said. City : f or use in
connection- with -its. systen•of, Later works; °and
- W11 AS, negotiations have -been.-had .whereby the Pacific Powerrr,& Light, *.Company, a
corporal ion, offers to sell and convey to -the •City of -Yakima the said., pipe. line ,for the
sum of One Hundred: Dollars, which sum the City Engineer a.nd_ the City Commissioners,
after careful investigation,,. find. to be the reasonable value of said pipe line, and.
said Commissioners deeming it -for the best interestsof the- City- that, said. .pipe :.line
should.-be "purchased for said. sum, I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE- IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C(X;1ViISSION OF THE CITY OF YA.KITFA,
WASHINGTON:
That- the purchase, of the following described :property situate;lying -and-being
in the County of Yakima, State of Washington,to -wit-:
Al'1 that portion of the main -water supply pipe line heret.ofore used by said-
Pacific Power & Light Company to supply water to-the City of Yakima, extending from a
Uoint where said, pipe - line crosses,ithe °Little Wapat•ox, Canal in the Southeast Quarter
SEi) of the Northwe•s.t Quarter-(NWT) of Section.Twenty Four (24).-Township Fourteen (14)
North.,Range Seventeen (17) East of •Wi•llamette Meridian, to a point One Thousand , •( -1000 )
feet west -of the east lire of Section Fifteen (15) Township Thirteen (13)..North,Range
Eighteen (18) East of Willamette Meridian; also all rights-of way, easements,permits
and privileges-owned-or-held by said Pacific•Power.& Light Com' pnay fo,r or. in connection
with the constructioit', maintenance and or-operation- of-said-water pipe line, . .
be, and. it is hereby. authorized and- confirmed and the said .property..is hereby
accepted by said City for the sum of One. Hundred. Dollars cash; and the execution and.
delivery of a proper warrant for said sum-in-payment-of said purchase-price of hereby
authorized. and directed, the delivery of said, warrant to. be made upon the submission by
said. Pacific Power & Light . Company of proper • evidence• and •documents showing. a clear
title to said. property and. upon the, approval—thereof,, by the City Attorney. .
BE IT .FURTHER RESOLVED, That said, sum of One Hundred. Dollars sha]. 1. be paid
from the Municipal Water Fund of the City of Yakirna,Washington.
