Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved- by Hed.ges, seconded by Coonse, that the minutes of the regular meeting of i onday
December 17th,1928, be approved. as. read.;carried,Dudley absent, Commissioners Hedges an
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Voved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time and place for the Yre arin
on Resolution No-B-1065, for constructing a -sewer along Lots 7,8,9,10,11 and 12 in
Block 1 of Laurelhurst Addition and there being no objections in writing or otherwise
to said. improvement or any part thereof; it. is ordered. that the ordinance creating a
local improvement district be laid on the table for one week;carried,Dudley absent,
Hed.ges.and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO.B- 1066,WHEREAS, by order dated. April 15,1927, the Department of Public
` "forks of the State of Wa.shingt,on ordered the Northern Pacif is Railway Company, a cor-
poration., in accordance with Section 10517 of Remington's Compiled Statutes of the
State of 'r'lashington, to proceed with reasonable promptness to reconstruct the crossing
of Vlalnut Street in the City of Yakim�,`llashington, in such 'a way that Walnut Street
would pass under the tracks of the Northern Pacific Railway Company; and
IJAITEFEAS, it was. ordered by said department that said Northern Pacific Railway
Company shall bear sixty per cent (60`0) of the total cost and expense of said improve-
ment and the said city shall bear forty per cent (40 %)' of sudh total cost and expense,
provided, however, that said Northern Pacific Railway Company shall bear one hundred
per cent (1000 of all cost and. expense over -and. above the sum of $375,000.00; and

Yakima,71a hington, passed. Ordinance No.A -1067, adopting the plans and profiles for the
improvement of 11alnut Street in the City of Yakima,Washington, by separating the stree
and railroad grades at the Walnut Street crossing of the Northern Pacific Railway
Company's tracks by the elevation of such railway tracks and the construction of a
subway or underground crossing beneath the same;and
