Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Dud.ley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday October 29th.,1928, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read.; carried, Dud ley, Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved.•by Coonse, se.cond.ed. by Dudley, that this be.irig the time for .receiving bids 'for constructing a'sewer on West Chestnut Street in Local Improvement District No.459, the' following were received: J.IVI.DeBlasio, $7391.05; - Midstate .Contract Company, •$7266.10 and. R.A..Geary,�7248.1:5; .the bid. of R.A.Geary in the sum of (7248.1.5 being the lowest and best bid. said contract was awarded. -to him and _the 11fayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf of said City upon the.filing of the proper bond. therefor; carried., Dud.l.ey,Hed.ges and. Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coons e,second.ed by Dud.ley, that the City Engineer having reported the com- pletion of the.improvem ent of constructing a sidewalk on South Fourth Street in Local Improvement District No.455, by the Contra.ctor,A.S.Wilson, in the sim of ff,682.5 said work is hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessmen roll for said district and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on said. roll for Iuionday November 26th,1928, at 9 o'clock A -141. carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll .call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by Dudley, that the City.Engineer'having reported the com- pleti'on of constructing a sewer in Bonnie Doone district, Local Improvement District No.454, by J- 14-DeBlasio, con tractor,. in the sum of $1225.25; said. work is hereby accepted. and. the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on -said roll for I6.onday.,November 261th, 1928, at 9 o'clock A.M.carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that th.e::contract for hauling garbage from the residential district entered into between H.R.Jones,contractor, and the City of Yakima, dated February lst,1927, arid. ending-January Ist,1929, is hereby assigned by said. H.R. Jone.s,_contractor, to A.B.Coleman, and the City Commission hereby consent to said assignment as of November lst,1928',,. upon filing the proper bond with tile City Clerk;carried.,Dud.ley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
