Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of 1MIond.ay October 8th,1928, be approved as read.; carried,Dud.le y,Hedges and Coonse voting acre on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by. Hedges, that this bein"r the time for the -hearing on Resolution No.B -1063, for constructing a sewer on property bounded on the north by West Yakima Avenue, on the east by the east line of Gilbert Addition, on the South by West Chestnut Street and on the west by Twenty Eighth Avenue south; and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be laid on the table for one week;carried,Dudley,t'iedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by 'Hedges, that the following bids were 'received for paving the alley in Block 12,Local Improvement District No. 457; Geo.M.aavage Company, x„3110.61; Midstate Contract Company, `04159.48 and R.A.Geary $4234:23; the bid,of Geo. M.Savage Company in'the sum of $3110.61 being the lowest and best bid, said contract was awarded to them and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf of said city upon filing the proper.bond.as required by law;carried,Dudley, Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the following bids. were received for con- structing a sidewalk on East "F" Street, in Local Improvement District No.458: A. S. V` Jilson ,$911.38;J.11.DeBlasio,$862.50; the bid of J.M.DeBlasio in the sum of $862.50 being the lowest and best bid said contract was awarded to him and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf of said City upon the filir of the proper bond-as required by law;carried, Dudley,Hedges and Coonse v.)ting ate on roll call. ORDINANCE NO.A- 1120,entitled: "An Ordinance fixing the tine of delinquency of the assessments levied -for the payment of the cost and expense of the improvements in Local Improvement District No-446, and providing for the issuance of bonds with cou- pons attached for the payment-of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Coonse and read by the City Clerk.
