Moved by Dudley, seconded. by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of.Monday, September 1.7th,1928, be approved as read;carried,Dudley,Hedges - and. Coonse voting aye on roll call. .ESOLUTION NO.B -1063, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMIA, VA;:?HINGTON: That it is the intention of the City. Commission to improve all that part of the City of Yakirna,Washington, bounded on the north by West Yakima Avenue, on the east by the _east line of Gilbert Addition, on the south by West Chestnut Street, and on the west by Twenty - eighth Avenue South.,by the construction of a vitrified clay pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches, manholes,flush tanks and water connect ions therefor., along the following described lines: Beginning at the manhole at the end of the existing sewer on Twentieth Avenue South, thence west along West Chestnut Street to Twenty Second Avenue South, thence north along Twenty Second Avenue South to a line 1.38.5 feet north of the north Tine of West Chestnut Street, . thence west along said line. and along the alley in Block 2 of haurelhurst.Addition to Twenty Fourth-Avenue South, thence west along a line approximately parallel with 'Jest Chestnut Street to the east line of Twenty Eighth Avenue South at a point. 13 ®.3 .feet north of th north line of Vlest Chestnut Street;. said sewer to be eight inches in inside diameter and to be provided with.seventy nine (79) wye branches, seven (7) manholes, and one_(1) automatic flush tank; Also by the construction of a vitrified clay pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches,manholes,flush tanks and water-connections therefor, along the following described lines: Beginning on West Chestnut Street at Twenty Second Avenue South, thence west along West Chestnut Street to a point 250 feet west of the west line of Twenty Second Avenue South';. said sewer to be six inches in inside diameter and to be provided with six (6) wye branches and one (1) automatic flush tank; Also by the construction of a vitrified clay pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches,manholes,flush tanks and. water,:.co.nnect ions therefor, along the following described line.s: Beginning on Twenty Second Avenue South at a line one foot north of the south line of Lots 1 to 13 in Block 1 of Gilbert Addition, thence east along said line to a point 615 feet east of the east line of Twenty Second Avenue South; said sewer to be six inches in inside diameter and to be provided with thirteen (13) wye branches, one (1) manhole, and one (1) automatic flush tank; and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith; all in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared -by the City Engineer and filed with the City Cler All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,'Nashington, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock A-M, Monday, the 15th day of October,1928, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improyement,all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Cler is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing. and the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. - The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and. properly assessable therefor, as provided by law and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the time fixed herein for said hearing,.all of the data and other information required by law to be submitted 'by. him. Moved by. Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the ti:.ue for the hearing on Resolution No:B -1060 for improving the north side of "F" Street from North First Street to North Third Street by the construction of a cement sidewalk 6 feet in width and there being no protests in writing or otherwise tb, -. said improvement or any part thereof, it is ordered that the ordinance-creating a local improvement district be laid on the -table for one week;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
