Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday
September 4th and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read, carried,Dudley,Hedges
and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A- llll,entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the construction of a concrete
sidewalk upon a certain street in the City of. Yakiria,establishing a Local Improvement
District, .providing a method of payment th"e~re.for, and creating a. special fund ", was
i.ntroduc.ed by°Coonse and read by the 6ity Clerk.
Moved by Dud.ley,second.ed by Hedges, that Ordi.nande No.A -1111 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that Ordinance No ,A -1111 be passed to its third
reading and read in full;carried,Dudley,Hedge.s and- Coo.nse..voting aye on roll call.

Loved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the. City Clerk give notice. to contractors
by publication as required by law for constructing a sidewalk on South Fourth Street
from Maple Street to Beech Street in Local Improvement Distract No.4.55; said bids to be
received on Mond.ay,September 24th,1928, at 10.00 o'clo'_ .ck A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A- 1112,entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of property in
the City of Yaki.ra,Washington-, by the construction of a trunk sewer,_ establishing a
Local Improvement District, providing for the, method of payment therefor, and creating a
special fund ", was introduced by Coonse and read by the City Clerk.
Moved. by Dud.ley,seconded by Hedges, that Ordinance No.A -1112 be passed. to,its second
reading and read by title only "earried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that ,Ordinance No.A -1112 be passed to its third
read.ing and read in full;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that Ordinance No.A -1112 be passed as final ly read;
carried,Dudley,Hed.ges and Coonse voting aye on roll call,
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the. City Clerk give notice by publicaton as
required by law for constructing a sewer on the south line of West Walnut Street and
other streets in the city of Yakima in Local Improvement District No.4•r6; said bids to
be.-received on Monday,September 24th,1928, at_10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded. by Dudley, that this being the time for receiving bids for
constructing an irrigation systen.: in 'Local Improvement. District No.454, the following
bids were received; J.M.DeBlasio,$1174.86; R.A.Geary,$2079.40;.the bid of J.M.DeBlasio
in, the sum of. $1174.86 being the lowest and best bid said contract was 'awarded to him
and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf of said City
upon the filing of the proper bond as required by law;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by J.M.DeBlasio,contractor, in the sum of $1174.86 for con-
structing an irrigation system in Local Improvement District No-454 is hereby approved
and placed on file with the City Clerk;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the following payrolls be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor; carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye
on roll call...
