The City Commission inet in regular seesion, llayor Dudley and. Commissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved. by Dudley, seconded. by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of ?Monday
August 6th, 1928 be a-- woroved. as read; carried.,Dud.ley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll
call.
moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution No -B -1056 for constructing, a sidewalk on Fair Avenue from Adams Avenue to
Pacific Avenue, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said impr,ove-
r:�ent or any part thereof, it is ordered that. the ordinance creating a Local Improvement
District be laid on the table for one, week;carried,Dudley,fied.ges and. Coonse voting aye
on roll call.

the contract for furnishing coal to the city at the sum of $.80 N..+..I. Roslyn Kline

Assessment Roll in Local Improvement ?District Yo-449, and there being. no objections

,district, to- wit: Beginning on the south 1�ne of v'lest 7alnut Street at a point 200 fee
easterl; from the east boundary of First Avenue South, thence southerly along a line
parallel with the said east bound.ry 1892 feet, thence vaester.ly at right angles to said
line 410 feet to a point 150 feet westerly from the west bound.ry of First Avenue South
eMended southward, thence northerly along aline parallel with the west boundary of
First Avenue South and, First Avenue Borth 6,704 feet,raore or less, to the south line
of Pacific Power and Light company's wasteway canal, thence. easterly along 'said south

150 • feet south of Beech. Street , all in the City". of Yakima,tNashingt on, by the construct-
ion of a one course Portland cement concrete sidewalk six feet in width, excepting. in
front of Lot 12,Block 96, where a concrete sidewalk has been heretofore constructed,
and by doing all such other-work,-as may-be-necessary in connection therewith, all in
accordance with plans-,prof i :les and -specif,ica.tions .therefor to be prepared by the City
Engineer and... filed ,w.ith.,the City C.lerk. -=
All persons .who may. desire to objedt to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified-to-appear.-and present. such objections at :a° meeting of the City 9ommission to

First Avenue South-4,812 feet; ,more or less, to the point of beginning, all in the City
of Yakima,Washington, by-the construction of a trunk sewer along the following described
line: Beginning on. First Avenue, South at West Walnut Street,. and extending thence
southward along a line six feet easterly from and parallel with 'the center line of First
Avenue South and along said line extended southerly to its intersection with the storm
sewer which crosses said line at a point 932 feet, more or less, southerly.from the
south line of West Pine. Street, said trunk sewer to' be constructed of vitrified clay
sewer pipe twenty one inches in inside diameter, and-to be provided with four brick
manholes and sixty four wye branches, being-one wye branch for each fifty feet frontage
upon each side.,:of said sewer, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in
connection:. therewith; 'all in accordance with: the :plans and specifications therefor, to
be prepared by .the City- Engineer and filed with the City Clerk:
