The City Conunission met in regular session,liIayor Dudley and Commissioner Hedges absent
Coonse voting aye bn roll call.
There being no business to come before the meeting and an insufficient number of the
Board. of City Commissioners to constitute a quorum, the meeting was adjourned. to
Wednesd.ay,August lst,1928, at 9 o'clock A.IA.

RE'SOLUTIJN NO.B- 10'57,V111EREAS, `a petition has been filed requesting the establishment of
a Local. Improvement District for the purpose of constructing the necessary pipe lines
and. appilktenances, and acquiring the necessary water and water rights and rights -of
way, in order to supply various lots, parcels and tracts of land with dater for
irrigation and domestic purposes, and
:II�REAS, it` is deemed. exped.ie'nt by the City; Commission that a local improve-
ment district be fonned for the purpose of constructing the necessary pipe lines and
appurtenances, and acquiring the necessary water and water rights and. rights of way in
order to supply varior s lots,parcels and tracts of land with water for irrigation and.
domestic purposes ;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY TI CITY COMIAIISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI11k,
WASHINGTON:
That the City of Yakima intends and hereby declares its intention to
improve the following described property in the City of Yakima, .'Vashingt on, to -wit:-
Beginning at the intersection of Bonnie Doon Avenue 'and Twentieth Avenue
South in the City of Yakima,thence east along Bonnie Doon Avenue to the alley east of
Nineteenth Avenue South, thence north along said alley to the north line of Lot 15,
Block 3, Inglewood Addition, thence east along said north line of Lot 15 to Eighteenth
Avenue South, thence south along Eighteenth Avenue South to Bonnie Doon Avenue, thence
east along Bonnie Doon Avenue to Sixteenth Avenue South, thence south along Sixteenth
Avenue South to the south line of Allan's "Acre Tracts, thence west along said sough lin
of Allan's Acre Tracts to Nineteenth Avenue South, thence south.along Nineteenth Avenue
South extended to Lenox'Avenue, thence west along Lenox Avenue to Twentieth Avenue
South, thence north along Twentieth Avenue South to the point of beginning.
This improvement is to consist of the acquiring of the necessary water
rights and. rights of way, and the construction of a main pipe line connecting with the
Naches and Cowiche Ditch where said ditch" crosses Twentieth Avenue South and. extending
thence south alone; Twentieth Avenue South' to Bonnie Doon Avenue, thence east along
Bonnie Doon Avenue to a point about one hundred forty (140) feet ~Vest of Sixteenth
Avenue South,together with the necessary 'laterals,service connections and other appur-
tenances for the purpose of delivering water for irrigation purposes to each lot and
tract of land within the proposed district, and the doing of all such other work as
may be necessary in connection therewith;'
All of the cost and expense of the construct 'on and installation of said.
pipe line and appurtenances, acquiring and purchasing easements and rights of way,
engineering and. advertising, and. all other expenses incident thereto shall be assessed.
against all of the property above described. in the manner provided by law.
All persons who may desire to object to the proposed improvement are hereb
notified. to appear 'at a meeting of the City Commission to be held in the City Office
Buildings in the City' of Yakima, Yakima County,`filashington, at the hour of nine o'clock
A.M. on Monday,-the 20th day of August,1928, which time and place are hereby fixed. for
the hearing .of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, or objections theret
and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby
directed. to give notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid
improvement.
The costs and. expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed
against all of the property legally and. properly assessable therefor, as provided by
law, and. the City .Engineer is hereby directed. to submit to the City Commission, at
or prior to the date fixed for said. hearing, all of the 'data and, other information
required by lama to be submitted_ by him.
