Moved by Dudlcy,seconded by Hedges,-that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, July 25th,1.928, be approved as read;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye' on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded. by Hedges, that the City Engineer having reported the completio of the improvement of paving Eighteenth Avenue,south, and Bell Street in Local Improvemer District No.447, by the contractor,A.S.'llilson,.in the sum of $13,427.57, it is hereby ordered that said work be accepted and the City Engineer authorized to-prepare an assess- ment roll for said. district and the City C1erk.authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for Ivionday,July 23rd.,1928, at 9 o'clock A.M. carried, Dudley, Hedges and. Coonse voting aye on roll call. Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No.B -1053 for improving Sixteenth Avenue south,from Division Street to Lenox Avenue, Seventeenth Avenue South from Division Street to Bonnie Doon Avenue; Eighteenth Avenue south, from Division Street to Maclaren Street and Bonnie Doon Avenue from Sixteenth Avenue south to Twentiteth Avenue south, by grading and paving same and there 'being insufficient protest -in writi ng or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid on the table for one week;carried,Dudley,Hedges arid. Coonse voting a -,-e on roll call.
