The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and. Comilissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting -aye -on roll call.
Moved by Dudley,second.ed. by Hedges, that the minutew of the regular rmeeting of Monday,
May 21st,1928, be approved. as read.; carried,Dudley,Hed.ges and Coonse voting aye. on- roll
call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded. by Hedges, that this being the time and place for the hearing
on Resolution No.B -1051 for the construction of a vitrified, clay pipe sewer• in the
territory bounded on the north by Barge Street, on the east by Homewood Addition, on the
south by 'test Yakima Avenue and. on the west by Twenty Sixth Avenue; and. there being no
objections in writing or otherwise to said, improvement or any part thereof; it is
ordered that the Ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be laid. on the table for
one week;carried,Dudley,Hed.f_.es and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved. by Dud.ley,second.ed by Hedges, that this b -eing the .time and. place for-the hearing on
Resolution No .B -1052 for the construction of a- pipe line connecting with the existing
p -ipe line at Twentieth Avenue south and 11aclaren Street; thence east along Maclaren Stree
to the alley between Nineteenth and. Twentieth 'Wenues south, thence north ai-ong said. alle
to Division Street and.there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improve-
ment or any part thereof; it is ordered that the Ordinance creating a Local Improvement
District be laid on the table for one week;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dud.ley, that the following claims be allowed and the Deputy
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants trierefor;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse vot -ing

construction of an intake structure at the west end of the cresoted wood pipe line now
being laid. in the north one half of Section 24-13 -16 and a drop manhole at the east
end of said pipe line of the Municipal Water System, the 'following bids were received:
Item No.1, R.A.Geary, 03,195.00; IvIidstate Contract Co., $3345.00; Item No.2, R.A.Geary,
¢$3685.00 and Midstat.e Contract, x$3.780.00 carried,Dudley,Hedges and. Coonse voting aye
on roll call.
