The City Commission met in regular session,Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dud.ley,seconded. by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Ivlondayy
April 30th,1928, and adjourned meeting; thereof be approved as read; carried,Dudley,Hed.ges
and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO .B -1051 , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMI ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON:
That it- is the intention of the City Commission to improve all that part of
the City of Ya ima,Washingto-n, bounded on the north by Barge Street, on the east by
Homewood Addition, on the south by West Yakima Avenue, .and on the west by Twenty -sixth
Avenue, by the construct ion of a *-vitrified clay pipe sewer, six (6) inches in inside
diameter, along the following lines: Beginning at the end of the sewer heretofore con-
structed to serve Lots 1 to 12,inclusive, of Homewood Addition, and extending tl -ence
westward 310 feet, inclusive of the construction of one flush tank and twelve wye branch
es, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith; all
in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared by the City
Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to• appear and present such objections,:.at a meeting of the City Commission to
be held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,washington, at
the hour of 9 o'clock A.M. Monday, the 28th day of May 1928, which time. and place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said. proposed improvement, ai 1
objections thereto and for determinin -= the method of payment therefor ; and the City Cler
is hereby directed, to give due notice of said hearing and. the intention to make the
aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed agains
all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor, as provided by law, and
the City Engineer is hereby directed to. submit to the City Commission at or prior, to
the time fixed. herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required
by lace to be submitted by hom.

RESOLUTION NO.B -1052, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKITTA,
WASIi I NGT0 :,
That it is the intention of the City Commission to construct an irrigati
system for supplying the following described property with water for irrigation and.
domestic uses, to -wit:
All the--property in Block 4,.Hillerest Addition to the City of Yakima,
Washington, by the acquiring of the necessary rights of way, water and water rights for
furnishing water for irrigation and domestic purposes to all -of said property, and the
construction of an pipe line connecting with' the existing pipe line at Twentieth Avenue
South and IUlaclaren .Street, thence east along Maclaren Street to the alley between
Nineteenth and Twentieth Avenues, South., thence north along said alley to Division
Street, together with the necessary service connections for--the purpose of delivering
water f.or irrigation purposes to each lot within the proposed. district, all in accord-
ance with the maps,profiles, plans and specifications: therefor to be prepared by the
City Engineer and f iled with the City Clerk..
The City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at
or prior to-the- date fixed. herein for said hearing,all of the data and other informatio
required. by lava- to be submitted. by him.
The total cost and expense of the construction and installation of the
aforesaid water-system, the purchase of the necessary rights of way, water and water
rights, and aril -cost of engineering and surveying,advertising, clerical labor and all
other expense incident thereto shall be borne by aild assessed against the aforesaid
property accord -ing to the special benefits conferred thereon.
-All persons who may desire to object to the proposed improvement are
hereby notified to appear at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at the City
Office Building in the City of Yakima,V7ashington, at 9 o'clockt.A.M. on Monday, the 28th
day. of. lvlay,1928, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters
relating to said proposed improvement, all objections thereto and fore determining the
method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby cire0ted to give due notice of
said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement..

advertise for bids for publication as required by law for constructing an irrigation
district on Sixteenth Avenue north and other streets in the City of Yakima in Local
Irnprovemen.t District No -448; said bids to be received on Monday May 21s-t,1928, at
10 o'clock A.M. carried,,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDII�:ANCE NO -A -1097, entitled: "An Ordinance, providing for. the improvement of certain
streets in the City of Yakima,Washington, by grading and paving the same, -establishing
a Local Imn rovertlent District, providing the method of payment therefor, and creating
a special fund ", was introduced by.Coonse and read. by the City Clerk.
