April 30 th,1928.
The City Commission met in regular session,Yayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Dud.ley,secohd.ed by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
April 23rd,1928, be approved as read;carried,Dud.ley,Hed.ges and Co-on-se•voting aye on-roll
call.
Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution No.B -1049 for constructing an irrigation system on Sixteenth Avenue,North and
other streets in the City of Yakilra, and there being no objections in writing or other-
wise to said improvement or any part thereof, it is ordered that Vie ordinance creating
a local improvement district be laid on the table for one week; carried.,Dudley,Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Loved by Coonse,seconded. by Hedges, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu-
tion No.B -1050 for paving Nineteenth Avenue-South, from West Chestnut Street to Division
Street, and there being an insufficient number of protesters-against said improvement;
it is ordered the- ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid on the table
for one week;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO -A-1050, entitled: "An Ordinance amending Sections 33,34,35 -,3.7 and 46 of
Ordinance No.A -988, entitled: "An Ordinance creating a Water Department, regulating the
operation thereof, providing for the management and control of the same, providing for
rules regulating and fixing the use and. price-of water supplied by the City, providing
penalties for the violation thereof and declaring an emergency;" and declaring an
emergency was introduced by Coonse and read by the-City Clerk.
