paving South Second Avenue from ugest Yakima Avenue 'to West Walnut Street in Local
Improvement' District No.446, the following were received: One course Portland Cement
Concrete,W.J.Doust Construction Co. ;$18,849.37; R.A. Geary, $10,760.78; A.S.utiilson, $18,4 3.15
6 inch Vibrolithic Coricrete,W.J.Doust Construction Co., $20,4:45.51; 5 inch Vibrolithic
Concrete, - J.Doust Const.Co., $19,033.54; the bid of A.S.Wilson in the sum of $18,4:53.1
being the lowest and best bid said contract was awarded to him and. the Mayor and City
Clerk authorized. to execute a contract on behalf of said city upon the filing of the
proper bond as required by law;carried,Dudley,Hed.ges and Coonse voting aye on roll cal .

Moved by Coonse, seconded by Hedges, that the bond of A.S. iilson, in the :gum. of 413,378.40
for paving Eighteenth Avenue south and other streets in the City of Yakima in Local
Improvement District No.44.'7;,' is hereby approved and placed on file �dlth! the City Clerk;
carried,Dudley,Hedg•es and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
SOLUTION,-,NOr.B 11048,=-REAS,'':the ;:City -,of' •Yakima has purchased, from various persons the
following described real estate, situtate in the County of- Yakir.a,State of Washington, and
particularly described as follows,to -wit:
Lots 1 to 16,Block 294 Capitol and Lund's Addition to Yakima,
according to the official plat thereof on file and of record
in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County,Washington; and
WH7113 AS, the City of Yakima paid the sum of x'7,596.97 for said property,and
WHEREAS, said sum was paid from the Bond Sinking Fund of said City,-and
'i�7ii, _RMAS, the purchase price of said property is properly pa,,/able from the
Park and Playground Fund of said City;
NO�V THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY C011+61•1IISSION OF TH73 C1,1'Y OF YAK11u,
WASHINGTON:
That the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars per year, beginning
February lst ,1928, be paid. f r orn the Park and Playground Fund to the Bond Sinking Fund. unt i
all. of said purchase price hereinbefore.has been paid into said Bond Sinking Fund.
All deferred payments to bear interest at the rate of 5% per annum computed
upon,i balances and to be added each year to the annual payment hereinbefore provided for.
The Park and PlaygrounJ.'Fund of the City of Yakima shall have the right to
pay any amount they desire upon this contract at any payment time provided that such pay-
ment in no case shall be less than the annual payment here inbeforer•prowided ^for•.
