_The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.;
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
January 22, 1940 be approved as' read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by;Clark that the City Engineer having heretofore reported
on the completion of constructing curbs nnl gutters on 12th Avenue and other streets
in the City of Yakima in Local Improvement District No. 552; it is ordered that said
improvement be accented and the' City Engineer authorized to prepare 'an assessment roll
for' said district, and. the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said
assessment roll for Monday, February 19th, 1940 at ten o'clock'A. M :. carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded.' by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and. the
City Clerk authorized to. issue - warrants as follows: Crusher $247-59; Cemetery $132.00;
Sanitation $740.75; City Street, $1,051.01: carried, Riley, Washburn and. Clark voting

RESOLUTION NO. C -450, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of hot 4, Block 22, Tennant
and Miles' Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima).
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated. ,in Yakima. County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot 4, Block 22, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addition
to North Yakima (now Yakima,),
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Wa,shi;ngton, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas-
urer of Yakima County, WA shington, to said City of Yakima., on sale of said property
for delinquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said_ premises to, TONY POZARI.CH, a single man,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said_ above described premises be and they are hereby author
ized. to bp sold to TONY POZARICH, a. single man, for the total sum of One Hundred Ninety
five and No /100 ($195.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. R9.1e,y, is hereby authorized. to
execute a. deed to said premises;, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby authoriz
ed and directed to attest the same for and on beht=lf-of the said City of Yakima.
