HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/16/1939 Business Meeting & 10/20/1939 Adjourned MeetingThe City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and Clark present on roll call, Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, October 9th, 1939 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Wa.Ghburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following, claims be allowed and the City Clerk instructed to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $3,407.05; City Street $5,848.04; Park $367.21;'Cemetery $194.52; Fixed Estimate $82.94; Revolv- ing $767.87; Irrigation $53:72; Water.$2,415.37; Delinquent Property Sales $36.36; 1. I. D. Guaranty $2,052.37; Crusher $1,221.39 ; P. R. & P. $35.66; Accident $81.30; Muni- cipal Equipment $127.30; Bond Sinking $7.7z: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded byy Washburn that this being the time for the postponed. hear- ing on Resolution No. C- 434,.providing for the construction of a domestic water system on 20th Avenue and other streets in said city, more specifically described in said Resolution No. C -434, and a. petition being presented by owners of property in said dis- trict opposing said improvement; it is ordered that said petition be checked and. final dicision be made at a later date: carried, - Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, October 20th, 1939 at ten o'clock A. M; carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
