Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that the-minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday, September 5; 1939 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll c. all. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $3,732.74; City Street $5 551'.82; Library $190.91; Park $437.86; Cemetery $78.14• Revolving $267.39; L.I.D 0 s W,724 ,64; Irrigation $357.03; Water $9,077.34; Crusher 16,153.91; Delinquent Property Sales $634.59; P; R. & P. $95,50; L.I.D. Guaranty $1,055.55: carried, Riley,,Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the petition of the pin ball operators in the City of Yakima for a reduction in license fees from $15.00 per table per month to $12,50 per table per month be rejected: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that George V. Rankin be reappointed'as a member of the Civil Service Board for the City Fire Department, his term to be six years, start - ing:September 11th, 1939: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -436, A RE90LUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 9, Heintz Addition to Yakima. WHEREAS,'the City of Yakima is the owner of the following describ- ed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit; Lot 9, Heintz Addition to Yakima, according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by- reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas- urer of Yakima County, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent real estate taxes, and WHEREAS it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell'said premises to MARGUERITE LANDRY., a single woman,, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to MARGUERITE LANDRY, a single woman, for the total sum of Sixty -five and No /100 ($65.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the Acting City Clerk, Florence Eschbach, is hereby author- ized and directed to attest the same for and'on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
