The City Commission met in regular session; Mayor Riley and Commissioner Washburn
present on roll call, Commissioner Clark absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
August 7th, 1939, be approved as read: carried, Riley and Washburn voting aye on roll
call, Clark absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants therefor as follows: Parks $1024. 0; Cemetery
$168.00; Cemetery-Care $369.00; Garbage Disnosa.l $731.2.5; Street Dept. $1369.53;
Crusher $271.96; L.I.D. Revolving $329.00; Irrigation .78.60 and Water $825.60: car-
ried, Riley and Washburn voting aye on roll call, Clark absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the following claims be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $3823.76;
Cemetery $238.72; Irrigation $64.74; Revolving $2023.83; Parks $502.87; City Street
15120.14; Water $7,040.59; Water Deposit $326.00; P. R. & P. $10.03; Municipal Equipment
34.73; Crusher $420.69; Bond Sinking $2.61 a.nd F. R. & P. X74.65: carried, Riley
and Washburn voting aye on roll call, Clark absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn: carried, Riley and Wash-
burn voting aye on roll call, Clark 2bsent.
