The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 12th, 1939, and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call..
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue w,:rrants as follows: --Street Department x$1043.29; Garba.g
Disp. $722.00; Parks $$607.50; Crusher 199.56; Revolving $381.25; Irrigation $127.50;"
Cemetery. $168.00 a.nd- Cemetery Care $426.00:- carried, Riley, Washburn .and- Clark voting
aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -385, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. B -131, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their
incidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers
and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses; providing
penalties and repealing certain ordinances concerned with or relating to the subject
matter of this ordinance, and declaring an emergency ", as amended, by adding thereto
• new Section to be known as Section 352i rela.ting.to neglitent driving, and by adding
• new subsection to be known as subsection (d), Section 69 of Article 8 of said ordi-
nance; and declaring. an emergency, and providing penalties ", was introduced by Wash-
burn and read by the City Clerk.

ORDINANCE NO. B -386, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE regulating the operation and use of bi-
cycles; providing for the licensing thereof; regulating bicycle agencies; providing
penalties for the biolation thereof; and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by
Riley and read by the City -Clerk .

reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.

City of Yakima., Washington, of certain property contiguous to the present boundaries
of said City ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk.

call.
