Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that this being the time for receiving bids for pipe, fittings, valves, hydrants, etc, for the Water Department, the following were accepted: Items 1 to 4 on pipe, Yakima Hardware Company in the sum of $65,417.42; Item<�No. 34 on pipe, Hugh G. Purcell in the sum of $7,019.02; Items 11 to 26 on fittings, Yakima Hard- ware Company in the sum of $1,901.26; Items 35 to 40 on fittings, Yakima Hardware Company in the sum of $207.77; Valves and Boxes to Rensselaer Valve Company on the following.items: 5 to 9 $7,057.53; 30 to 33 $4,914.00; Item 41 $101.00; Item 9, $750.00 Hydrants, Rensselaer Valve Company Item 10 $7,080.00; Jointing, Item 27, H. Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that this being the.tlme for the hearing on Resolution No. 0-403 providing for the construction of curbs and gutters on South 18th, 19th, 20th Avenues, Bell Street, Graham Street etc., and there being no objections to said Improve- ment or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a.local improvement district .be passed- as finally read: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll ,call, Washburn absent. WHEREAS, the )City of Yakima is the owner of the following describ- ed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to-wit:_ Lot 2,-Allan's Acre Tracts, according to the official plat thereof now on. file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas- urer of the .City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on s� le of said property for delinquent local improvement assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to ALBERT ROCKSTROM and RUTH E. C -412" A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lots 7 and S, Whitson's Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: Lot 7 and Lot S, Whitson's Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of � deeds therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County and the Treasurer of the City of Yakima,, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes and assessments. County, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of.Yakima, on sale of said. property for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima, to sell said premises to FRED L..EVANS, a single man, upon the terms and con- ditions hereinafter set forth.
