The regular meeting of the City Commission was postponed, owing to the absence
from the city of Mayor Riley and Commissioner Washburn; however, the hearing on Reolu-
tion No. C -373, providing for the construction of curbs and. gutters on 22nd Avenue,
23rd Avenue ""Eleanor, Barge and other streets in the City of Yakima, more particularly
described in said resolution, was held with Commissioner Clark and A. B..Collins, City
Engineer, present. Insufficient protest against said improvement was entered and Com-
missioner Clark ordered that the ordinance creating a. Local Imnrovement District be held
in abeyance pending the return of Mayor Riley and Commissioner Washburn.

The City Commission met in regular session,'Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -397, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the following described real
estate:
Beginning at a point on the easterly line of South First
Street 493.23 feet southeasterly from the intersection
,. of said easterly line with the south line of Pacific
Avenue; thence northeasterly at right angles a distance
of 145 feet; thence sou.th 2�P18' east 74.9 feet; thence
south 13 01.0' east ?.5.6 feet;. thence southwesterly to a.
point on the easterly line of South First Street which
is 100 feet southeasterly from the point of beginning;
thence northwesterly along said he
line 100 feet
to the point of-beginning,
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated_in. Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:

by reason of a, deed therefor issued by H. L. Liston and Eva I.A. Liston, husband and

WHEREAS, it a.npea.rs to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to A. B. THISIUS and MARTHA M. THISIUS, husband and wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author -
i -zed to be sold to A. B. THISIUS and MARTHA M. THISIUS, husband and wife, for the total
sum of Twently -two Hundred and No /100 ($22.00.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, F; B. Riley,
is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl
B.enjamin, is hereby authorized and directed. to attest the .same for and on beh6lf of
the said City of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 10th day

RESOLUTION NO. C -388, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of.Lot 2,' Block 118, Rainier
Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on
file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington.

WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima. County, .State of Washington,. to -wit:
Lot 2, Block 118, Rainier Addition to North Yakima.
( now Yakima) ,
according to the official plat thereof now on file and or record in- the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas-
urer of the City of Yakima, Washington, and a. deed issued by the Treasurer of Yakima
County, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for de-
linquent assessments and delinquent taxes, p,nd
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to JAMES L. MEIKLE and .SYLVIA H.''.MEIKLE, husband and wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE

ized to be sold to,,JAMES L. MEIKLE and SYLVIA H. MEIKLE., husband and wife, for the total

authorized to execute a. deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is
hereby authorized-and directed. to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of
Yakima.

RESOLUTION NO. C -309, A RESOLUTION authorizing the moving of a service station at the
northeast corner of South First Street and Lenox Avenue, in order to clear the right
of way on South First Street. i -
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the moving of the service. station located on the north-
east corner of South First Street and Lenox Avenue, as shown by the accompanying map,
so that the same will not encroach upon the street, be and the same is hereby author-
ized under the or'ovisions of Chapter. 197 of the Laws of 1937.
PASSED by the.City Commission of the City of Yakima., Washington,
on this 10th day of March, 1939.

ORDINANCE NO. B -372, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No. 542, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -350
