Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn tha.t,the. minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day, December 20th, 1937 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following claims be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $26,055.55; L;I.
D. $2,529.67; Cemetery Trust $3,541.09; Delinquent Property Sales $695.50; L.I.D.
Guaranty 13,500.00• L.I.D. Revolving $145.31; Fixed Estimate $215.40; Irrigation
$347,93; Cemetery 4211,59; Accident $137.00; Municipal Garage $262.50; P.R. &; P. $53.00;
City Street $9,396.55; Parks $91.43 and Water $21,206.34: carried, Temple, Washburn
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City Engineer having reported the com-
pletion of constructing a, sewer between South Naches Avenue and South 6th Street in
Local Improvement District No. 513, it is ordered that said improvement be accepted
a.nd the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and
the City Clerk directed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, January
24th, 1935 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time. for the hearing on the
assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 519 and there being no protests in
writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that
the ordinance confirming said assessment roll.and every p art thereof be passed as
finally read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -265, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering
Local Improvement District No. 519, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -250
of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Washburn and read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -265 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting ayeoo.n

Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following warrants be cancelled: Warrant
No. 279, issued to Homer Todd for $1.50 on the City Street Fund: Warrant No. 21905,
issued to Wm. B. Auda, Inc., for $12.00 on the Current Expense Fund: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, Decem-
ber 30th, 1937 at 4 o'clock P. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Wash-
burn and Clark present on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -266, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE declaring that a public emergency exists,
providing for the expenditure of certain sums of money for various debts of the City
of Yakima, and fixing the estimated amount of such expenditures as near as may be es-
timated and declaring an.emergency ", was intruduced by Washburn and read by the City
Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -266 be passed to its second
reeding and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -266 be passed to its third
