The City-Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day, December 6th, 1937 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye,on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by'Washburn that the resignation of Jessie J. Persels, Food
Inspector of the City of Yakima, on account of illness, is hereby accepted to take
effect December 31st, 1937: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that a quit claim deed from Shirley D. Parker and
wife for the East one -half of the South one -half of the SW4 of the NW4 of Section 25-
13 -18, E.W.M. to the City of Yakima was received for a.pproval,'and laid on the table
for further consideration: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved'by Clark, seconded by Washburn that a quit claim deed from Rose B. Larson, a
widow, for the North one -half of the SW4 of the NW4 of Section 25- 13 -19, E.W.M. to the
City of Yakima for approval and ordered..laid on the table for further consideration:
carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that we do adjourn to meet Thursday, December
16, 1937 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 16, 1937, 9 A. M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Wash-
burn and .Cla.rk present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the.City Engineer having reported the com-
pletion of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 517, amounting to the
sum of $743..62; it is hereby ordered that said improvement be accepted and the City
Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll and the City Clerk directed to give
notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, January 10th, 1938 at 10 o'clock A. M :.

ADJOURNED MEETING, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18, 1937, 9 A. M.
The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor - Temple and Commissioners Wash-
burn and Clark present on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -2951 A RESOLUTION- authorizing the expenditure of an additional sum
of money for the improvement of certain streets in the City of Yakima:
WHEREAS, due to an increase in the cost of materials, the total
cost of City Street Project No. 6 amounted to $7,741.7.2 instead of X7,436.84 as shown
in the preliminary estimate,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the expenditure of an additional sum of $304.89 be and the
same is hereby authorized under the brovisions of Chapter 187 of the Laws of 1937.

on this 13th day of December, 1937.

RESOLUTION NO. C -296, A RESOLUTION authorizing the expenditure of an additional sum
of money for the improvement of certain streets in the City of Yakima:
WHEREAS, due to an increase in the cost of materials the total
cost of City Street Project No. 5 amounted to $6,679.40 instead of $6,591.42 as shown
in the preliminary estimate,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the expenditure of an additional sum of $87.98 be and the
same is hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 187 of the Laws of 1937.

cost of City Street Project No. 4 amounted to $6,210.93 instead of $6,11_3.76 as shown
in the preliminary estimate;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE'CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the expenditure of an additional sum of $97:17 be and the
same is hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 157 of the Laws of 1937.

of money for the improvement of certain streets in the City of Yakima;-
WHEREAS, due to an increase in the cost of materials, the total
cost of City Street Project No. 3 amounted to $6,425.40 instead of $4,552.17 as shown
in the preliminary estimate,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE QTY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the expenditure of an additional sum of $1,573.23 be and.
the same is hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 157 of the Laws of 1937.

WHEREAS, due to an increase in the cost of materials, the total
cost of City Street Project No. 2 amounted to $5,247.56 instead of $4,509.95 as shown
in the preliminary estimate,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the expenditure of an additional sum of $437.55 be and the
same is hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 157 of the Laws of 1937•
