Moved Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November.l5th.and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark.voting aye on roll call.
Moved,by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk °authorized to issue warrants as follows: Cemetery $198;0.0; Cemetery Care
$49.00; Curb & Gutter Job $114.00;,L.I,.D. Revolving'$161.20; Parks $99.13;.Sanitation
$737.65; City Street Fund $1,974.75: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call.
ORDINANCE,NO.. & 2.51, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of Install-
ments of assessments- levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local
IT.n provement District No. 514, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons
attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Washburn
and fC-&d by the City Clerk.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -255 be passed to its second
reading and read b,y title only: carried, Temple, Washburn. and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Temple; seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -255 be passed to its third
reading and read by title only:' carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -255 be passed as finally
read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye -on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -256, entitled, "AN ORDINkNCE providing for the improvement of property
In the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a pipe sewer, together with
the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor, es-
tablishing a local improvement district,.providing for the method of payment therefor,
and creating a special fund ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by-Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -256 be passed to its second
reading and read b,y title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Washburn,: seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -256 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -256 be passed as finally
read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice to contractors by publication as required by law for constructing a sewer sys-
tem in Local Improvement District No-.523; said bids to be received on Monday, December
6th, 1937 at ten o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on rol•1
call..

26th, 1937 at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1937, 9 A. M.
The Cit.y.•Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Wash -
burn and-Clark- present on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO.. -C -293, WHEREAS, heretofore that certain property hereinafter described
was conveyed to the City of Yakima for alley purposes; and,
WHEREAS, said description was in error and made by mistake in
that the point of beginning of said description was placed twenty feet farther to the
north than the true description of said alley; and,
WHEREAS, such defective description casts a cloud upon the title
to said property; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the proper corporate officials of said City be, and they are.
hereby authorized and directed by deed of quit claim to convey the following described
property, to -wit:
Beginning at a point 140 feet south and 22.5 feet
west.of the northeast corner of the east half of
the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of
the southeast quarter of'Section 23, Township 13
North-, Range 18, E.W.M.;'thence west 70 feet; thence
south. 20 feet; thence east 70 feet; thence. north 20
feet to said point -of'beginning, Yakima County, Wash-
ington,
unto Bertha A. Kelly, a widow.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 26th
day of November, 1937.
