The City Commission met in- regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day, November lst, 1937 and adjourned meeting.thereof be approved as read: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being -the time;for receiving bids on
constructing a sewer in L.I.D. No. 517, the following were received: J. M. DeBlasio,
$606.75 and T. Dingle $598.50; the bid of J..M. DeBlasio in the sum of $606.75 was
accepted�::as the lowest.and best bid and the.Mayor and City Clerk directed to enter in-
to a contract-on behalf of the City of Yakima upon.the filing of a proper bond as re-
quired.by law: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for receiving bids for
the construction of a cement sidewalk on No. Naches Avenue in L.I.D. No. 515 the fol-
lowing were received; J. M. DeBlasio $473.00; Wm.. McCulloch $532.13 and H. J. Adler
Construction Company $443.20; The Bid of H. J. Adler Construction Company in the sum
of $443.20 is'hereloy accepted as the�lowe*st and best bid, and the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby directed to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Yakima upon the
filing of a proper bond as provided by law: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting
aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for receiving bids for
the construction-.of a sidewalk on North 4th Street in Local. Improvement District No.
519, the f olloyving.were received: -J.- M. DeBlasio, $1,093.44; T, Dingle $12215.65;
H. J. Adler Construction Company; $1,195.50; The bid of J.'M. DeBlasio in the sum of
$1,og3 "44 16 hereby accepted as'the lowest and best bid and the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby di.rected'to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Yakima upon the
filing of a proper bond as provided by law: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting
aye on roll call.

City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Curb & Gutter Job $150.50; L.I.D.
Revolving $56.90; Sanitation $707.50; Irrigation $300.00; Parks $54.50; Cemetery
$216.00; City street Dept. $1,339.13; -City Street Project No. 2.$357.12; City Street
Projec't.No. 4.$495.75; City. Street Proj: No. 5 $56.00; and'City. Street Project No. 6
$275.00: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.

in the;sum`'of $x+43.20 for the-construction of a sidewalk on:North.Naches Avenue in Lo-
ce.1 .Improvement District No.. .515 in.- hereby approved and filed with the City -Clerk;
carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.

ing a sewer in Lo.cal:Improvement District No. 517 in the sum of $606.75'and for con -
structing "a sidewalk on North -4th Street in Local Improvement District No. 519 in the
sum of $1,093..44-a:re hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO.-.C-2191-., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA,
WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to construct a water system to serve
all the lots, blocks and parcels-of land included within the real estate hereinafter
described, said improvement to consist of the completion of the necessary mains, fire
hydrants., valves- and other appurtenances, for the purpose of supplying water for domes-
tic use to each lot and tract of land within the proposed district.
That the district to be served by and assessed for the above de-
scribed improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the center line of 27th
Avenue North 140 feet north of Summitview Avenue;
thence westerly parallel with Summitview.Avenue a
distance of 165.2 feet; thence northerly parallel
with the.center line of 27th- Avenue North to Lincoln
Avenue; thence easterly to a point 140.9 feet east . -
of the -east line of 27th Avenue North; thence south-
erly parallel with the center line of 27th Avenue North
to .a point,135 feet north of Summitview Avenue; thence
westerly parallel with Summitview Avenue to the center
line.-of 27th Avenue North; thence north to the point
of beginning. The above described district includes lots
23 to 40 of Hamberg's Addition and Lots 26 to 46 of
Ridgeview-Addition in the City of Yakima.
the above water system.to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and s-pecifi-
cations to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may-desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of
the City Commission to be-.held at its office in'the City Hall in the City of Yakima,
Yakima County, WashAngton, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 29th day of
November, 1937; which.time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters
relating to-the said.proposed improvement or objections thereto; and for determining
the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby•directedto give due notice
of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost.and expense of said improvement.shall be borne by and
assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro-
vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to sub-
mit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing all
of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted.
