Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, October 18th, 1937 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Tem- ple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation Department $697.00; City Street Fund $1,276.37; Cemetery $216.00; Parks $78.00; City Street Project No. 6 $1,644.59; Project No. 4 $620.31; Project No. 2 $575.62: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the claim of Anthony Paul Wisniewski in the sum of $5,000.00 for damages alleged to have been sustained by reason of unjustifi- able conduct on the part of Police officers, especially one Wilder, patrolman in said department, is hereby rejected: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting ayer.,on roll call. RESOLUTION-NO. 0-288, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKI.MA, WASH- INGTON: That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to serve all the lots,.Blocks and parcels of land included. within the real estate herein- after described, said improvement to consist of the completion of the necessary mains, laterals, service connections and other appurtenances for the purpose of delivering water for irrigation purposes to each lot and tract of land within'the proposed dist- rict. That the district to be served by and assessed for the above de- scribed improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Lots 1 to 16, Inc., Block 200; Lots 1 to 16, Inc., Block 201, and Lots 1 to 8, inc., Block, 202, Walker Addition to Yakima, the above described irrigation system to be constructed in full accordance with the -plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima. County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 15th day of November, 1937, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to the said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be distributed as follows: Approximately .2,938..00 to be taken care of by the Works Progress Administra- tion, and the balance thereof to be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and other information re- quired by law to be by him submitted. RESOLUTION NO. 0-289, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE-CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct a water -system to serve all the lots, blocks and parcels of land included within the real estate hereinafter described, said improvement to consist of the completion of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances, for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use to each lot and tract of land within the proposed idstrict. That the district to be served by and assessed for the above described improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Lots 1 to 9, Inc., Block 180; Lots 1 to 8, inc., Block 181; Lots 1 to 7, Inc., Block 182; Lots 3 to 14, Inc., Block 200; Lots 3 to 14, inc., Block 201; and Lots 3 to 8, .Inc., Block 202, all in Walker Addition to Yakima, Washington, the above water system to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifi- cations to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed wiith the City Clerk.
