Moved by Temple, seconded.by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, August 23rd, 1937 a"nd. adjourned meetings be approved as read: carried, Temple, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn,. seconded.by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Cemetery $168.00; Cemetery Care $372.75; Parks $469.;00; ,Sanitation $651.50; City Street Dept. $1187.50; Curbs and Gutters $357.46 and Water $318.50: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting,,5.ye on roll call. Moved by.Temple, seconded by Clark that at the postponed hearing on Resolution No. C- 270 a petition- .objecting:.to the improvement provided for by said resolution was filed by property owners-in said district; the City Engineer was authorized to check said petition and.report.on -the percentage of remonstrance on Tuesday, September 7, 1937 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark., seconded.by Temple that at.the adjourned meeting for hearing on the assessment roll for.Local..Improvement District No. 507; the property owners were repre- sented by Attorney Fred Velikanje who agreed to the confirmation of the assessment roll if the sum of $100.00 were.:deduc.ted from said roll and upon receipt of the proper waiver of saIA, property- owners by said attorney it was agreed to confirm the reassess- ment roll: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call„ Moved by Temple,. se.c.onded by-Clark that we.do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, September lst, 1937 at 9 o'clock A. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that final adjustment being made by property owners in Local:Improvement.District No. 507 by filing a waiver of remonstrance on condition .that..$100;00: be. deducted from the' original assessment roll; it is ordered that the reassessment roll and every part thereof be confirmed as finally read: carried Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B =237, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll coveringg Local Improvement- Dis.trict No. 507, as created and established by Ordinance No. B�-N9 of the ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn,..seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -237 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
