Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, August 2nd, 1937 be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the bond of A. S. Wilson, Contractor, in Local Improvement District No. 514 in the sum of $2,171.45 is hereby approved and filed with the City Clerk: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the City Commission hereby confirm that certain consent and assignment of Lot 11, Block 98, Rainier Addition heretofor executed on the 4th day of August, 1937, by the Mayor and City Clerk: carried, Temple, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. C -272, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the following described property: Beginning on the north line of Yakima Avenue, 16 feet east of the southeast corner of Lot 2, Larrison's Addition; 'thence north 6 07' west 130 feet, thence north 70 040' east 5.0 feet; thence south 6 07' east 130 feet; thence southwesterly 50 feet to beginning, in the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 19, Township 13 North, Range 19, E. W. M. C -273, WHEREAS, the City of Yakima, on or about 1933, acquired that certain property hereinafter described for connection with the development of Lenox Avenue crossing; and H. C. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby authorized 'to give notice to contractors as required by law for constructing a domestic water system on East Chestnut Street; said bids to be received on Monday, August 23rd, 1937 at ten o' Clock A. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 507 and after considering several petitions objecting to said assessment roll, it was ordered that said hearing be post- poned to Monday, August 23rd, 1937 at ten o'clock A. M; carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -269 and a majority of the property owners involved in said improvement ap- pearing and asking that the work be done by W.
