Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, July 19th, 1937 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, Temple absent. RESOLUTION NO.0 -269, , BE .IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF' YAKINTA: . That it is its intention to improve all the lots, blocks and parcels of land included within the real estate hereinafter described, by constructing pipe sewers with the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connec- tions therefor, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with the plans and specirications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and assessed for the above describ- ed improvement is described as follows, to -wit: All of Walker's Addition, according to the official plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, and that portion of New Rainier Addition, according to the official plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, lying east of South Eighth Street. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objections, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima., Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M. on Monday, the 9th day of August, 1937, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The costs and expenses in connection with the construction of said improvement, including the engineering, inspection, advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be levied and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the payrolls for the month of July,'1937 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Various Dept. $2,096.22; Inspectors $889.37; Health $1,101.25; Police $3,779.90; Fire $5,364.76; Enggsneering $660.93; Irrigation $5+6.55; Library $621.94; Cemeter $127.57; Parks 00; City Street $1,012.55; F. R. & P. $395,90; P. R. & P. $13.75 and Water Dept. 113,45-87: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, Temple absent.
