Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. 0-251, for constructing a domestic water system on West Washington and other streets in the City of Yakima, and there being insufficient protest in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it was ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be passed as finally read: carried, Temple, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. C -263, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIhrA, : That it is its intention to improvem the property lying between 27th Avenue North and 28th Avenue North and between Summitview Avenue and Lincoln Ave- nue, otherwise known as Hamberg's Addition to Yakima, Washington, by constructing a pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and assessed for the above described improvement Is described as follows, to -wit: Hamberg's Addition to Yakima, Washington, according to plat thereof recorded in volume 3155 ORDINANCE NO. B -204, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima., Washington, valves and other appurtenances by constructing the necessary mains, fire to supply various lots and tracts of land with hydrants, water for domestic use; establishing a local improvement district, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a, special fund ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk. The cost and expense of'said improvement shall be*borne by and assessed against all'of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro® vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. C -2641 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That it is its intention to construct a water system to serve all the lots, blocks and parcels of land included within the real estate hereinafter described, said improvement to consist in the completion of the necessary mains., fire hydrants,_ valves and other apurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for do- mestic use to each lot and tract of land within the proposed district. That the district to. be served by and assessed for the above de- scribed improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Beginning 20 feet west of the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 19, Township 13 North, Range 19, E.W.M., thence north 298.74 feet; thence west 640 feet; thence south 298.74 feet; thence east 640 feet to the point of beginning, being known as Lots 1 to 20 and 22 to* 29 of Smith's Plat, unrecorded; the above water system to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifi- cations to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. C -265, A.RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the east 125 feet of the west 155 feet of the south 150.5 feet of the north 159.75 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 15, E. W. M. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: The east 125 feet of the west 155 feet of the south 150.5 feet of the north 159.75 feet of the northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 13 North, Range 15, E. W. M. according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas- urer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and WHEREAS; it appears'to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima. to sell said premises to J. H. BELLIVEAU and CLARA A. BELLIVEAU, husband. and wife, upon the?erms and conditions hereinafter set forth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAK:IMA, WASHINGTON: That the Director of Highways is hereby requested to place the following signs: 30 signs on U. S. #97; 32 signs on U. S. #410; 24 signs consist- ing of direction arrows and 6 right and left signs; all of said signs to be posted at the discretion of said Director of Highways. WHEREAS, the City of'Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 8, Block 2, Hillcrest Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent local improvement assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the be.st interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to THOMAS V. BUTLER and OLIVE C.
