and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday,
July 6th, 1937 and adjourned meetings thereof, be approved as read: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids for
sewer pipe for main storm drains pursuant to Resolution No. C -249, for the improvement
of North.First Street to be known as 'City Street Project No. 111, the following bids
were received; Joe Ban $663.20; Yakima Cement Products Co. $559.20. The bid of the
Yakima.Cement Products Co. was accepted as the lowest and best bid: carried, Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sewage Disposal $231.00; L.I.D.
Revolving $154.10 and Permanent Highway $113.50: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark
voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. 0-261, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of the following described
property:
Beginning 364.75 feet north and 645-76 feet west of
southeast corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the North -
east' 1/4 of. Section 19, Township 13' North, Range 19,
E. W. P.R., thence westerly 14.2 feet to east line of
south Tenth Street, thence northwesterly to south
line of Moxee Avenue, thence easterly 264.3 feet,
thence south 269 feet to beginning. (City Tract 179)
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Beginning 364.75 feet north and 645.76 feet .west of
southeast corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the North-
east 1/4 of Section 19, Township 13'North, Range 19,
E. W. M., thence westerly 14.2 feet to east line of
south Tenth Street, thence northwesterly to south
line of Moxee Avenue, thence easterly 264.3 feet,
thence south 269 feet to beginning; (City Tract 179)
by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of
Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for de-
linquent assessments, and
WHEREAS, it appears to, be for. the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to N. J. CARPENTIER, a married man,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to N. J. CARPENTIER, a married man, for the total sum of One Hundred
Eighty -eight and No /100 ($188.00) Dollars, and the Mayor., H. C. Temple, is hereby
authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is
hereby authorized and directed to attest the'same f or and on behalf of the said City
of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED AND APPROVED, this 9th
day of July, 1937.

RESOLUTION NO.' C -262, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 16, Block I, South Park
Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on
file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot 16, Block I, South Park Addition to
North Yakima (now Yakima), according to
the official plat thereof now on file and
of record in the office.of the Auditor of
Yakima County, Washington,
by reason,of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of
Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for de-
linquent local improvement assessments, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to FRED MARTIN, a bachelor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIRriA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-

ized to be sold to FRED MARTIN, a bachelor, for the total sum of Sixty -six and 58 /100
($66.58) Dollars, and the Mayor, H. C. Temple, is hereby authorized to execute a deed
to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed
to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
