The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
..Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
May 3,'1937 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Wash-
burn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants-a's follows: Street Dept. $1,963.22; Sanita-
tion $606.00; Permanent Highway x$132.00; Cemetery x$126:00; Cemetery Care $399.00;
Parks $419.25; Water Dept. $576.25; Sewage Disposal $305.50: carried, Temple, Washburn
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for the hearing on
Resolution No. C -240, providing for the construction of an irrigation system on 28th
Avenue North and other streets in the City of Yakima and a protest -of several property
owners being presented; it was ordered that said meeting be adjourned to accomodate
other property owners.within the proposed district who could not appear at said meet-
ing: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by.Clark, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, May 11th
1937-at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.

The.C.ity Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor � and Commissioners
Washburn and Clark present on roll call.
ORDINANCE,NO.. B -1,159, entitled "AN'ORDINANCE authorizing the leasing of the North Half
of Lots 10, 11 and 12, Cherry - Avenue Subdivision, according to the official plat there-
of on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, to
Yakima Day Nursery, Inc., a corporation ", was introduced by Temple and read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -188 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried,

Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the City Engineer having heretofore re-
ported the completion and satisfactory operation of the City Incinerator; it is or-
dered that-said Incinerator be accepted from the Pittsburgh- DesMoines Steel Co. as of
this date: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that we do now adjourn: carried, Temple,-Wash-
burn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
