Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 15, 1937 and adjourned meeting:-thereof, be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Loved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for receiving bids on cast iron pipe for the improvement of irrigation systems in the City of Yakima, the following were received: Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Yakima Hardware Co. lst lst 2nd American Cast Iron Pipe Co. Hugh G. Purcell Co. $5,962.05 bid 6,141.00 Alternate 6,3382.45 Alternate 6.46o-45 6'489.70 . 6,141.00 The bid of the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. in the sum of $5,962.05 was accepted as the lowest and best bid: carried, Temple-, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
