and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
December 7th, 1936 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried., Temple,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call..
hIoved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment roll in Local Improvement District No. 511 and there being no protests in
writing or otherwise to said assessment roll or.any part thereof; it -is ordered that
the,-.ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof.�be passed as finall
read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.. B -168, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll - covering
Local Improvement District No. 511, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -159
of the ordinances of the City of Yakima "., was introduced by Clark and read. by the City,
Clerk.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -168 be passed to its second
reading and read brtitle only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.

reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.

311322, in the sum of .$30796.99 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue war-
rants on the following funds: Current Expense $6318.79; L.I.D. Revolving $203.20;

& P. $42.00; Municipal Garage $273.69; Bond Sinking $18,457,76; Delinquent Pron_erty

T.�oved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that.the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give
notice to contractors by publication as required by law for the conbtruct'ion of a
building on the City Warehouse property on South Broadway; said bids to be received
on Thursday, December 31st, 1936 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried,, Temple, Washburn and
Clark voting, aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO .. C -224, ..BE- IT-RESOLVED, BY THE CITY- -COMMISSION OF. THE, CITY• "OF:.YAYIMA-,.•
WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to improve that certain property herein-
after described, by constructing pipe sewers with the necessary wye branches, manholes,
flush tanks and water connections therefor, located as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of East Beech Street 'with the alley between
South Naches Avenue and South Sixth Street; thence-,north' along the center
line of said alley to the south line of East'-Chestnut,Street.
The district to be serveid by and assessed for the 4bo; ve' described improvement is ""
described as follows, to -wit:
The west half of Blocks 112, 113 , 114, 115 and 116', City -of - 'North Yakima, .now
Ya'.ima Washington
the above described sewers to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and
specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed, -with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby
notified to appear and present such objection if any, at a. meeting of-the City
Commission to. be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Ya'Kima, Yakima,
County, Washington, -,dt the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 4th day of January,
1937., ".which,'time and..place, are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating
to said proposed-im -brovement or-abjectians thereto, and for determining the method
of payment therefor;"and "the�City'Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said
hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of "said improvement shall be distributed as follows:
Approximately the sum of $7400.00 to be taken care of by the Works Progress Adminis-
tration, and the balance thereof to be borne by and assessed against all of the
property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above
described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission
at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data. and other
information required by law to be by him submitted.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 14th
day of December, 1936.
